Say Goodbye to Sissy 1.1
We shot the photos in this post about 18 months ago but never found the right time to release them.
But now that I’m retiring my TPE-me, I’ve decided to do so in order to give you the chance to say goodbye to Sissy 1.1.
You may not have known that I’m quite self-reflective. And sometimes I think that, for a doll, my personality is quite ambivalent. 🤔
For instance, I would say I’m a good girl. I live a solid life as my husband’s loving doll wife and our adoptive froggy daughter’s caring Mom. ❤️
Yes, I do have two girl crushes but never ever would I be unfaithful to my husband. Continue reading →
Science with Sissy: Personality Transference 🎓
Pretty much everyone who shares their life with a doll and consider her or him their significant other fears one thing in particular: having to replace the doll’s head.
Changing the body is one thing. In the end, that’s merely a physical thing. But when it comes to the head, things get tricky.
After all, it is the head that harbours the doll’s personality.

Still, we do like a little drop of cola every now and then. Only as a treat, of course, we mainly drink sparkling mineral water.
Why am I telling you this? Well, Harry likes to try out new things in the kitchen. And sometimes, he has done so by accident. 😄
My hubby once told me about an incident when he wanted to make a salt-crusted roast but accidentally rubbed the meat with sugar instead. And then ended up surprised that the roast still tasted really good. 🤣
So, we thought why not use cola when cooking a roast? Continue reading →
Bud Spencer’s Bacon & Beans
I don’t need to introduce Bud Spencer to my German friends because he was (and has continued to be) huge in Germany.
For everyone else: Bud Spencer (born Carlo Pedersoli) was an Italian Olympic swimmer turned actor.
In the latter role, he was one of my husband’s greatest childhood heroes as one half of the brilliant comedy-film duo Bud Spencer & Terence Hill.
Particularly, there are two movies – “Zwei außer Rand und Band” (“Crime Busters”) and “Vier Fäuste gegen Rio” (“Double Trouble”) – of which Harry can speak along Bud’s and Terence’s lines from the German edits start to finish. Continue reading →
