Strasbourg Casserole 🔥
Harry and I don’t know why this dish is called “Strasbourg Casserole”.
Maybe, it was invented in the French town known for being the official seat of the European Parliament. Well, we can’t be bothered to do any research on this.
All we need to know is that we like pasta, we like casseroles and we like spicy French things. 😉
My husband has known this dish for a long time. However, for some reason, we had never prepared it since we’ve been together.
Well, it was about time because it’s really delicious.

Tortellini Casserole
When I ask my lovely husband to whisper those three sweet words to me, his answer is: “Let’s bake it!” 😂
When we’re in the kitchen, that is. Otherwise, of course, not. Harry loves me as much as I love him. 💘
But when it comes to food, we both love almost all kinds of casseroles. 😋
Many simple dishes can be jazzed up by topping them with cheese and breadcrumbs and then baking them in the oven to create a delicious brown crust.
However, we deliberately left out the breadcrumbs this time because we thought that a crust too firm would not really suit this specific kind of casserole.
