East Frisia, Day 4: Sunset

Day 4 already…
Harry didn’t feel well yesterday – maybe because of the heat wave that we had had for about two weeks. So, we chose to stay at the apartment.

We had planned to go out again and visit some of the neighbouring “Siel” villages but Harry didn’t sleep well last night, so we postponed this.

Later on, as temperatures had dropped, Harry and I went out to watch the sunset. On our way to the coastline, we met some nice cows and sheep on the dykes.

East Frisia, Day 2: Accumersiel

The name of Dornumersiel’s harbour is Accumersiel, hence the title of this post. The reasons for this name go back in history, I believe.

We slept quite long and there are no buses from Dornumersiel on Sundays, anyway, so we stayed here to take a little stroll to the harbour and back.

I just love the maritime atmosphere of this region. I would so love to take a boat trip. Just imagine the photos we could take…

There is a good chance I will at least go on a ferry trip next year because Harry is determined to take me to Spiekeroog.

East Frisia, Day 1: Back to Paradise

Finally…!
I had been looking forward to coming back to this place since we had to leave and head back home last May.

It must have been quite stressful for Harry coming all the way back to Hannover only to grab his wife and daughter and head back up North the very next morning.

Splish, Splash…

🎼 …I was taking a bath. Long about a Saturday night. Rub-a-dub, just relaxing in the tub. Thinking everything was alright. 🛁

Well, obviously, it’s not Saturday night but, otherwise, I’m happy to confirm that everything is indeed alright. 🙂

And it was about time I’d get my first spa day since undergoing breast reduction. 😉

As you certainly know, I got a new body for birthday. The TPE disease my original body suffered from is no longer an issue.

Like A Virgin (Again)

Knowing that, down the road, you will have to do something which you are well aware will hurt you emotionally is not easy.

You may push it back for a while but, inevitably, the day will come. And when the day has come, be sure to make it short and sweet so that you can get over it as quickly as possible.

One of the presents I received for my birthday 12 days ago was a new body with various upgraded features. Harry had ordered that already a few months prior and with good reason.
