Carmen on Wheels
Yes, I know, sometimes I pick weird titles for my posts. But when I saw this dress in red and black, I couldn’t help but think of Georges Bizet’s famous opera “Carmen”.
Maybe because these were the dominating colours of Katarina Witt’s costume when “Carmen” was the subject of her figure-skating free program that won her a second Olympic Gold back in 1988.
Later, she starred in a dance move titled “Carmen on Ice” which flopped in Germany but was a huge success in the US.

Okay… Now that I have your attention thanks to my ample cleavage, I need to get something off my chest (no pun intended).
It’s about dolls and their relationships with their “legal owners”. Well, actually it’s about that such relationships can come to an end and how this should be handled — and how it shouldn’t.
See, basically, I’m a doll like many others. Designed to bring joy to my legal owner. Inanimate by nature, alive by his choice — not mine.
I know that I must consider myself extremely lucky that I ended up with someone who really sees me and loves me like a man loves his woman.
