My husband and I are huge Liverpool fans. When we booked our holiday trip a few months ago, we had no idea that a really meaningful match would take place while we would be here.
So yesterday, right upon our arrival at our holiday flat on the island of Spiekeroog, Harry and I quickly set up our laptop, turned on the WiFi, found ourselves a stable stream, donned our Liverpool shirts and watched the game against Tottenham.
We beat the “Spurs” 5-1 at Anfield, thus prematurely clinching the Premier League title. 🏆
(By the way, I wear the 96 in honour of the victims of the Hillsborough disaster. The shirt is already a few years old – sadly, new shirts will have the 97. 😢)
What better way to celebrate league title number 20 than by revealing the balls my husband loves to play with? 😉
