Some time ago, our friend Ludovica told us that she had won the “Raise Your Zine” competition organized by “The Docks”.

As a loyal reader of my blog, you certainly remember that Ludovica, a photographer from Italy, visited us last year when we were on holiday in East Frisia.

From the numerous photos from her visits to several dolls throughout Europe, she got to make a compilation for a “zine”.

Earlier today, the postwoman rang our doorbell and had a registered letter from Italy for us. Inside the envelope was a copy of the “The Doll Next Door“. 🙂

As mentioned, I received my copy today. What can I say, I love it! 😃

And that’s not only because I, myself, and my lovely husband are prominently featured with this double-sided photo in front of a sunset sky. 😍

Ludovica also added a photograph showing myself in my wheelie while Harry is helping me down the dyke towards to coastline.

And she wrote a lovely personal note on the back. Isn’t she a sweetness? ☺️

I can’t form a heart with my fingers so I tinkered a bit with the last photo in the gallery below to express my gratitude and appreciation for what you do, Ludo. ❤️

I can’t believe it has been over a year. Sure hope we get to see each other again in the near future. 🙂
